Home Going

A sad and joyous day today as a good friend, Pastor Marvin Fulks, goes home to be with the Lord. I was privileged to serve as youth pastor under Pastor Fulks for 2 years in Sandwich, IL. He was a good friend and mentor to Sonya and me. He pastored churches in IL, IN, NE, & IA. Please remember his wife Karen in your prayers.

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 9:8 Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.

Scripture of the Day: Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Quote of the Day: There is an essential difference between the decease of the godly and the death of the ungodly. Death comes to the ungodly man as a penal infliction, but to the righteous as a summons to his Father's palace. To the sinner it is an execution, to the saint an undressing from his sins and infirmities. Death to the wicked is the King of terrors. Death to the saint is the end of terrors, the commencement of glory. Charles Spurgeon
