Community

We held our annual outdoor baptismal tonight. We had to postpone it last month due to the flooding rains, but God gave us a beautiful evening tonight. The highpoint was baptizing my third son, Jeremiah. What a privilege.

After the baptismal we had a mini-picnic and everyone just hung out for a while. You can't tell with the little picture, but there are some horses in the background, the sun was off to the right, the water was beautiful, there was a nice breeze, huge oak trees. The kids ran around the lake, a few jumped in, others tossed the football, some sat around building relationships and community. I love the family of God. Good times...

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."

Scripture of the Day: Genesis 2:18 "The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.""

Quote of the Day: "A man may lose the good things of this life against his will; but if he loses the eternal blessings, he does so with his own consent." Augustine
