Thanksgiving Countdown

We're going through the Psalms on Wednesday nights, so the hardest part of last night was trying to narrow down which Psalms of Thanksgiving we were going to try and get through in one night. I think we made it through 12. (9, 30, 32, 34, 66, 67, 92, 100, 115, 116, 118, & 138) The wide variety had an interesting mix of thanksgiving for provision, healing, deliverance, hope, the nation, the individual, the coming Messiah, and more.

Take some time in these Psalms this week and then write your own Psalm of praise. He is worthy!

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 15:17 Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred.

Scripture of the Day: Psalm 30:11-12 11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, 12 that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

Quote of the Day: "Perhaps it takes a purer faith to praise God for unrealized blessings than for those we once enjoyed or those we enjoy now." A. W. Tozer
