Persecuted Church

How ironic it was that yesterday was Veteran's Day here in America and it was also the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. As I shared yesterday, here I felt no fear and never thought about it twice other than giving thanks for the freedoms our veterans have fought for us to enjoy. Unfortunately that is not true for many of our brothers and sisters around the world. Many live in harms way. Many are persecuted or imprisoned. Others will give their lives for their faith. Here are a couple of links for you to find out more information on the persecuted church.

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.

Scripture of the Day: Hebrews 13:13 Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

Quote of the Day: "In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich. It is very easy to overestimate the importance of our own achievements in comparison with that of others." Dietrich Bonhoeffer
