All Thanksgiving, All the Time

Thanksgiving comes early this year. Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday of November, so with the 1st being on a Thursday, this is the earliest it can be. I occasionally challenge my church that Christians should be the most thankful people on the face of the earth. In a world of the unsatisfied, lawsuit filing, and my rights generation, we should shine like stars in the universe.

I read recently that, "An unthankful Christian is a defeated Christian for he/she has lost their joy." So set aside not just a day this month, but every day this month to regain your victory and joy through thanksgiving.

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 6:6-8 6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! 7 It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, 8 yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

Scripture of the Day: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Quote of the Day: "We would worry less if we praised more. Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction." Harry A. Ironside
