Double Down

Happy Father's Day to my dad and Happy 12th Birthday to Jeremiah.

It neat to watch your kids grow up, but his new Slip and Slide reminds us that he's still a kid at heart. It also made me feel old. Not 4 kids, a 12 year old, or my 19th anniversary coming up this week...but that feeling as I'm running for my turn on the Slip and Slide and I begin to think, "This is going to hurt and it won't be pretty either."

Here's a picture of me and my quiver.

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 15:20 A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother.

Scripture of the Day: Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Quotes of the Day: My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard. Mother would come out and say, "You're tearing up the grass." "We're not raising grass," Dad would reply. "We're raising boys." ~Harmon Killebrew
