I was getting cold and clammy. The shakes would come and go too. It had been weeks since I'd heard from my suppliers and I wasn't sure how much longer I could hold out. I finally got desperate and called a lady recovering from triple bypass heart surgery and told her if I could have some of her stash I'd bring her bring her a cut of the finished product. She agreed and we made the run. When her husband showed me the bag of the freshly picked crop and asked if that was enough, I said maybe just a little more to be sure. Here's a picture of the unprocessed crop.
Mmmmmm.... Rhubarb.
Turn off the TV, grab your stash, and make a great summer. Homemade pies, trampolines, cool nights, and good friends. It's 9:45 on a Friday night. Do you know where your kids are? Mine are jumping on the trampoline by the light of a halogen work light:) Good Times...
Be Refreshed!
Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 13:4 The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.
Scripture of the Day: Psalm 127:4-5 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Quote of the Day: If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance. ~Bern Williams
