Opening Day

I'm not a diehard baseball fan, but there is something about a Cubs broadcast in the background to give you a warm relaxed feeling. Especially after this long snowy winter, opening day at Wrigley Field is like the first robin of spring to let you know warm days are ahead.

For a little spiritual challenge early in the week, here's an interview of Pastor Randall Ross of Calvary Church in Naperville, IL.

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Scripture of the Day: Ezekiel 19:15 When she saw her hope unfulfilled, her expectation gone, she took another of her cubs and made him a strong lion.

Quote of the Day: Every player should be accorded the privilege of at least one season with the Chicago Cubs. That's baseball as it should be played - in God's own sunshine. And that's really living. Alvin Dark
