What Could Be?

Actually a pretty good Sunday morning. This is usually one of the harder Sundays of the year. There's a post-Christmas let down and people are tired and mellow. Many people are still out of town. But worship was great and a good crowd too.

We did a beginning of the year challenge of "What Could Be?" Rather than focusing on the negatives of what we didn't do or need to do, we stepped back in grace and asked God what He desired to do in and through us in 2008. Grace and Growth by Faith. If the same Spirit that raised Christ form the dead lives in us, imagine the possibilities!

Be Refreshed!

Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 30:4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know!

Scripture of the Day: Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Quote of the Day: “To love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless.” G. K. Chesterton
