A nice slow evening after the birthdays. Sonya & Isaac are at Rochelle at a BB game. The rest & I stayed home due to the beautiful snow coming down. The kids are watching Rudolph and I'm sitting by the tree with only the Christmas lights on and some mellow instrumental Christmas music on. Sometimes uneventful is a good thing.
Tradition of the Day: On our main tree the kids each have their own section of the tree for their individual ornaments. The tree has red and white bulbs, gold beads, and white lights all over, but it's also sectioned off for them. Check tomorrow for part 2.
Be Refreshed!
Proverb of the Day: Proverbs 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
Scripture of the Day: Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."
Quote of the Day: Whatever else be lost among the years, Let us keep Christmas still a shining thing: Whatever doubts assail us, or what fears, Let us hold close one day, remembering Its poignant meaning for the hearts of men. Let us get back our childlike faith again. Grace Noll Crowell
